A holiday at Natterjack Cottage in the beautiful Winterton-on-Sea allows you the chance to enjoy a stunning Norfolk beach and the serenity of the nearby Norfolk Broads all from one spot.
With its soft golden sand and SSSI dunes, the beach at Winterton-on-Sea can claim to be one of the most beautiful in the UK.

With miles of Norfolk beach to enjoy you can still find a quiet spot even during the busiest days in height of summer.
Natterjack Cottage is just a five minute walk to the dunes and a ten minute walk to the beach.
There are also number of relaxing walks in and around Winterton-on-Sea.
There are several lovely places to eat in Winterton-on-Sea.
The Fisherman's Return is a traditional pub that has a large restaurant extension to the rear and serves great food.
There is also The Highwayman Restaurant where diners can enjoy a view of the dunes as they dine.
On top of this you can treat yourself to afternoon tea at Poppies Tearoom in the village.
There is also the option of takeaway fish and chips from Winterton Fish Bar.
Whether you want to walk along the stunning beach, the beautiful dunes or explore inland there is plenty of wildlife to observe nearby.
Winterton Dunes National National Nature Reserve is a great spot for birdwatchers as it attracts a wide variety of species
From to December to March you can witness the extraordinary site of hundreds of grey seal pups being born.
You may even be able to get a glimpse of the rare Natterjack toad which live in the ponds on the dunes.
The famous Norfolk Broads are just several minutes drive from Natterjack Cottage.
Packed with wildlife, the 63 Broads and seven rivers offer fantastic opportunities for boating, canoeing, walking, cycling and fishing.
You can hire your own boat or take a guided tour of these incredible swathes of water to immerse yourself in their beauty.
Dedicated footpaths and cycle tracks are another popular way to explore these unique expanses of water which are full of wildlife.
Many people visit the Natterjack Cottage simply to enjoy walks and cycling.
As well as walks straight from your door there are plenty of routes just a short drive away where you can take in the area's varied landscape. Whether you enjoy walks on the beach, by the broads or along the marshes there are plenty of options.
Without many hills, Norfolk is famous for being very cycle-friendly. There's lots of tracks and quiet roads for visitors to safely enjoy.
If you want some local history, a good place to start is the Time and Tide museum in Great Yarmouth, which tells the story of the town from the Ice Age origins to present day.
You can also head to Norwich and visit the Norwich Castle , Strangers Hall Museum and Bridewell Museum,
Closer to home is Caister Castle Museum which combines a museum, castle and classic car collection.
Another popular museum is the RAF Radar Museum close to the picturesque waterside village of Horning.
Norwich is a 40 minute drive away. Packed with lots to see and do this historic city offers theatres, museums and art galleries as well as two beautiful cathedrals.
There's also lots of shopping opportunities and some great places to eat.
You can wander around its historic streets and visit it's great colourful outdoor market.
This beautiful city is certainly worth a visit.
For anyone interested in a slightly different day out there is the option of attending the horse races at Great Yarmouth Race Course.
Great Yarmouth Racecourse is home to a summer season of 23 flat race meetings attracting top name jockeys, and up-and-coming two-year-old horses.
Great Yarmouth is proud of its racing heritage, with the first events recorded more than 300 years ago in 1715.
The Hippodrome Circus in Great Yarmouth offers spectacular shows all year round.
It claims to be the last remaining 'total' circus building complete with a water spectacular that was originally built in 1903.
The circus offers seasonal shows for all of the family.
Each show tells a story and includes actors, acrobats and aerialists who combine to create death-defying spectacles.
The award-winning Bewilderwood is an adventure park with tree houses, zip wires and jungle bridges. that kids and adults can enjoy.
Wroxham Barns also offers something for all the family with shops, plant centre, junior farm, children’s funfair, craft studios and a restaurant.
Just the road at Hemsby you'll find Hirsty's Family Fun Park. There are climbing frames, bouncy castles and zip wires as well as a huge Maize Maze in the Summer. Hirsty's has also introduced a Drive-In movie nights.
If exotic animals is your thing there are a number of options.
One great day out is wildlife park Thrigby Hall and Gardens with its tigers, snow leopards and crocodiles.
You can also enjoy a visit to Pettitts Adventure Park- a family park with animals, rides, play areas and shows.
A slightly longer drive of about 40 minutes is Africa Alive- a wildlife park where animals get to roam together in large enclosures.
Great Yarmouth is only a 10 minute drive away and packed with family fun.
There’s a pleasure beach, as well as the Merrivale model village and crazy golf. For younger children there’s Joyland on the Britannia Pier.
There is also a Sea Life Centre as well as a dinosaur experience at Jurassic Journey.
There’s 10 pin bowling at the Wellington Pier and the Jump Warehouse offers indoor trampolines. .
